KABK Art and Design Research Practices is an initiative, through which the Lectorate Design identifies and shares a range of research methods practiced at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) that use the tools, approaches, and capacities of art and design to create and surface new knowledge. The first edition explores the research method of walking from a design perspective, and features the working process used by public space and landscape designers Krijn Christiaansen and Cathelijne Montens (KCCM) who teach field research in BA Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at KABK.
