Listening: A Research Method in Art and Design is a listening library organised around a playlist of sonic artefacts and excerpts derived from essential theoretical texts, tracks, compilations, listening exercises, field recordings, and broadcasts from the world of sound and hearing. The library for a Speculative Department of Sounding is curated by sound practitioner and KABK tutor Femke Dekker, also known as Loma Doom. Through her multifaceted practice as a sound practitioner and educator, Femke Dekker has spent more than a decade exploring sound as an agent for making.
